What is your vision for Faribault Public Schools?

My vision is a balanced approach of excellence in education, and fiscally -conservative/responsible. We need to “live within our means” as a district, but I see opportunity in being creative to grow programs- even during budget cuts.

Our students deserve a high-quality education, and the opportunities to be successful post K-12, no matter what pathway they choose- which will in turn promote a better Faribault. We have a commitment to our community to ensure a positive and constructive work environment for our teachers, staff, and administrators of our district- which will have a positive effect on all our students.

I am an advocate of educating our students and parents on the benefits of all post-secondary options, including: 4-year education, trade/technical, two-year education, on-the-job training, life skills training, etc. EARLY, and designing paths for students to be successful both during and after their time at Faribault Public Schools.
